View of scattered vegetation growing after winter rains in the Ghanim Sands. In the foreground Wilfred Thesiger's party is camping among the dunes during the party's journey from Khasfah well to Matki well. In the background a few qaid dunes, high free-standing dunes, sit along the horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
