View of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party trekking through sand dunes in the vicinity of the Ramlat Unayq, near the Dhahir mountains north of Al Ain. The party is travelling from Al Ain to Jabal Sumeini. In the foreground a line of tracks marks sand dotted with small tufts of vegetation. In the near distance three members of Wilfred Thesiger's party trek through the sands with their camels. On the far right, one man stands on the crest of a low sand ridge. In the distance beyond rocky mountains rise above the sands.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
