Description
View of dunes in Al Batin sands in the Empty Quarter (Rub' al Khali). A large dune rises in the foreground, sloping down towards the left. A few bushes and tufts of vegetation grow on its far ridge. In the desert beyond is a large flat sandy area, almost bare of vegetation. In the far distance is another ridge of dunes with rippled and ridged faces.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
