View of desert landscape in the Al Khatam sands south of Al Ain, taken during Wilfred Thesiger's journey towards Al Humrah sands. In the foreground a few tufts of qassis (sedge) grow on the side of a sand dune. On the right curved crests of low sand dunes run in undulating waves of dunes from the near foreground into the far horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
