Description

View of a line of abra (ferry boats) sitting along the shore of Dubai Creek. Oarsmen wait beside a line of abra at a ferry launch on Dubai Creek. Each abra is covered with a cloth canopy. Behind the launch a dhow (sailboat) is moored in the creek. In the distance, on the opposite bank of the creek, two storey houses and 'arish huts made from palm fronds sit along the far bank.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
