Description

Side view of a boom, a large double masted dhow (sailboat) built in Kuwait, moored along the shore of Bahrain Island. In the foreground a moored boom sits in calm water rippled by gentle waves below a cloudless sky. A large cloth canopy covers the middle deck of the boom. In the background two smaller dhows are moored further out. In the distance houses and trees line the far shore.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
