Description

View of Wilfred Thesiger's party trekking across dunes in Al Khatam or Al Humrah sands south of Al Ain. In the distance two of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions lead their camels in a line across an expanse of sand, heading towards a wispy bush in the left distance. The man at the front of the line walks, while the man at the back of the line rides. In the distance beyond two sand dunes, dotted with scattered vegetation, fill the background.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
