Description

Side view of kotias, large double masted dhows (sailboats) from India, moored at Bahrain Island. In the centre distance a kotia sits in choppy water, its bow pointing towards the left, its sails tied down. The kotia has a steeply inclined transom stern. On the left a number of dhows are moored in the background, while in the far distance buildings line the coast of Bahrain Island.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
