View of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party resting in the Ramlat al Ghirbaniyat (Ghirbaniyat Sands). In the foreground men rest amongst three low trees growing in an area of flat sand. Equipment and blankets lie in the sand surrounding the trees. In the right foreground a camel is grazing in the sand. In the distance beyond scattered vegetation grows on low rolling dunes.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
