Description

Seated group portrait of Wahiba Bedouin at a camp in the Wadi Halfayn. Six Wahiba Bedouin tribesmen of mixed ages sit on the ground in a line. Each person wears a thobe (shirt) and a headscarf, and three of them hold camel sticks. Three coffee urns and a kettle lie beside the fire in front of them, while on the far right a platter of food sits on the ground. Behind them bare sand stretches into the far distance.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
