View of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party resting at the well of Ma' Shadid in the Wadi Ghudun. On the left a few of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin guides are setting up camp in a patch of sand in the midst of a vast dry wadi. On the right a camel grazes on a near tree. In the distance beyond two of the party's camels stand where the wadi bed transitions from a covering of sand to small rocks. In the far distance low rock escarpments rise along the horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
