Description

Portrait of two Duru Bedouin in the Wadi al 'Ayn. A tribesman of the Duru Bedouin stands facing towards the left, his face squinting towards the foreground. He wears a plaid cloth hanging across his shoulders over his thobe (shirt) and a headscarf topped with an 'agal (head rope). A small boy stands at his waist on the left. The boy wears an embroidered headscarf tied around his head. Behind them trees and bushes grow in the sand.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
