View of Salim bin Kabina, one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions, with three camels in the Al Khatam sands south of Al Ain, during the party's journey towards Al Humrah sands. Salim bin Kabina, a tribesman of the Bayt Imani lineage of Rashid Bedouin, leads three camels down the slope of a dune. He carries a rifle over one shoulder. In the distance beyond, low rolling dunes stretch out towards the horizon below a vast cloudless sky.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
