View of Wilfred Thesiger's party climbing the crest of a high dune in the Kidan plains (Suhul al Kidan) or Al Batin sands of the Empty Quarter (Rub' al Khali). Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin travelling companions lead camels in ones and twos up the side of a tall sloping dune.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
