View of dunes in Al Batin sands in the Empty Quarter (Rub' al Khali), near Liwa oasis. Low, wind-rippled dunes spread out over a large expanse of sand from the foreground to the far distance. The sands are almost bare except for a few small dots of vegetation clinging to the sides of the dunes.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
