View of three sailors on a dhow (sailboat) travelling through the Persian Gulf from Dubai to Bahrain Island. Three men perch on the main yard of a dhow, tying up sails. Another man stands below the yard next to the mast. This image was taken during Wilfred Thesiger's May 18-28, 1948 journey by dhow from Dubai to Bahrain Island.
