Description
View of a sand flat in Al Batin sands in the Empty Quarter (Rub' al Khali). In the foreground a high dune is marked by a line of footprints along the crest. In the distance a large flat plain, almost bare of vegetation, lies below a far wind-rippled dune. At the far right a small area of vegetation dots the area where the dune meets the flat.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
