View of Wilfred Thesiger's party resting in the plains below the Jabal Qara mountains, near Salalah. In the foreground Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin guides rest in camp in the middle of a grassy down. Behind them a few trees and bushes grow on the downs, while in the distance a high mountain rises above the horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
