View of abras (passenger ferry boats) at a crossing on Dubai Creek. A line of abras wait at a ferryboat station along Dubai creek. A group of men stand in an abra in the foreground. In the background boats are moored alongside one and two storey building which follow the length of the creek. This image was taken during Wilfred Thesiger's May 10-18, 1948 stay in Sharjah and Dubai.
