Description
View of a group of farmers using teams of donkeys to thresh hay on a farm outside the city of Tarim. The donkeys are being driven over the hay, which is laid out on the ground. One of the female labourers is wearing a very tall straw hat. In the background a high city wall with dotted with guard towers runs along the base of a steep rock escarpment behind them.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
