Description

Seated portrait of an elder tribesman from one of the Qara tribes in the Jabal Qara mountains. The man kneels in the foreground, his body turned towards the left. He wears a long cloth wrapped around his shoulders. Behind him a vast field of grass grows.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
