View of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling companions taking a rest north of Al Ain, near the Dhahir mountains, during the party's journey from Al Ain to Ramlat Unayq. In the foreground dry shrubs and grasses grow in sandy soil. In the near distance some of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling companions mill amongst six camels couched on a low sand dune. At the right one man sits on a standing camel. In the far distance a vast expanse of sand dotted with vegetation spreads out behind them.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
