View of Muhammad bin Al Jabari, a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, in Al Humrah sands during the party's journey to Umm az Zumul. In the central foreground Muhammad bin Al Jabari, a tribesman of the Awamir Bedouin, stands on the crest of a near sand dune. He holds a rifle in his hands and stands with his back to the sun. In the distance beyond rolling downs stretch towards the far horizon below a cloudless sky.
