View of Wilfred Thesiger's party travelling in Al Khatam or Al Humrah sands south of Al Ain. In the foreground a depression lies between two low dunes dotted with a few clumps of vegetation. In the near distance a few of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin travelling companions cross over the crest of the dune on the right with their camels. In the far distance low rolling downs stretch out to the far horizon beneath a vast cloudless sky.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
