Description

Seated portrait of a tribesman of the Duru Bedouin in the Wadi al 'Ayn. A tribesman of the Duru Bedouin sits in the sand facing towards the right, his face turned towards the foreground. He wears a checked cloth hanging around his shoulders and a net-patterned headscarf. He also wears a cartridge belt over his thobe (shirt). Behind him trees and bushes grow in the sand.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
