View of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling companions and Awamir Bedouin watering at a well near Al Ain, during Wilfred Thesiger's journey from Abu Dhabi to Al Ain. Many people stand by a well with camels and goats. On the left two men stand next to a couched camel. At the centre a man walks behind a mud water trough. Four rifles rest against the lip of the water trough. Beside the tree at the centre a group of people with camels pull water from the well. On the right three Awamir women in black stand with a group of black goats.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
