Description
View of a salt flat in the Empty Quarter (Rub' al Khali) in Al Batin sands region. A large salt flat (sabkha) dotted with sparse tufts of vegetation stretches from the foreground into the distance. High dunes with sheer faces encircle the flat.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
