Description

Portrait of a peregrine falcon (shahin) with its prey, a MacQueen's Bustard (houbara), in the sands surrounding Al Ain. In the foreground a peregrine falcon, which belongs to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's hunting party, stands alongside a dead MacQueen's Bustard. The peregrine holds its wings out around the bustard to shield its prey. Around it plants and small vegetation grow on the sandy ground.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
