Description
View of the Sultan's Palace in the city of Shibam in Wadi Hadhramawt. In the foreground palm trees grow along the city walls. The Sultan's Palace sits in the distance beyond. It is comprised of two large multi-storey buildings, each one painted with thick alternating horizontal stripes. The windows of the palace are covered with carved wooden grilles.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
