View of sandy excavations in the city of Tarim. In the distance palm trees grow along the bottom of the mountain slopes that surround Tarim. In the far distance a large building sits on the rise. It is connected to a long wall that runs along the edge of the rise and down into the valley.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
