View of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party in the Ramlat ar Rabbad sands. In the foreground Salim bin Kabina, a tribesman of the Bayt Imani lineage of Rashid Bedouin, stands next to two camels on a sand dune. He is standing on one leg. Beside him the camels are grazing on a clump of vegetation. In the distance beyond, two members of the party ride their camels across rolling sands towards the foreground.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
