View of Shipaulovi pueblo on Second Mesa, located about six miles from Walpi pueblo, with rocky ground in the foreground. According to an original note by James Stevenson (prepared circa 1885), the 'habits and customs of the people of this pueblo are the same as those of W[a]lpi and their religious rites and ceremonies are held in common with them. The people of this village are noted for the beautiful and highly artistic baskets manufactured by them.'
Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
