Description
The south face of the Potala hung with two silk applique banners of the Buddha surrounded by other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. It measures 75 x 40 ft and has been sewn together. Spectators can be seen lining the Potala steps below the banners.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
