Portrait of a saker (hurr) falcon belonging to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's hunting party in the sands surrounding Al Ain. A saker falcon perches on a mangalah (cuff) on on a falconer's arm (only the man's arm and knee are inside the frame). The falcon's head is turned towards the right. The mangalah is made of cloth and edged with leather. In the background clumps of vegetation grow in the sand.
