Description

View of a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party standing in country north of Al Ain/Buraimi oasis in the area between Ramlat Unayq and Jabal Sumeini. An Arab guide in Wilfred Thesiger's party stands in the midst of a vast rocky plant left of a large tree. The tree's top branches grow in the shape of an inverted triangle. Scattered patches of dry grass grow on the rocky plain, and in the far distance a jagged mountain rises above the horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
