View of two of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions resting beside a tree in Al Ain / Buraimi oasis. In the near distance the two men rest in the shade of a large leafy tree in the midst of a vast expanse of sand dotted with a few clumps of vegetation. In the far central distance a number of tents sit amongst a line of trees and bushes. In the far right distance Jabal Hafit (Jebel Hafeet) mountain rises high above the plain.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
