View of a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party in the region of the Suhul plains (Suhul al Kidan), south of Liwa Oasis in the Empty Quarter (Rub' al Khali). One of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions stands on the curved crest of a low dune. He holds a rifle across his shoulder and a camel stick in his left hand.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
