Description
A well near the village of Hauta in the Al Qatan region. A wooden rope and pulley frame has been built over the well. Some of the ropes are tied to a group of camels, which driven down a long ramp in order to pull the water up. A group of men rest by the well.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
