Description

Portrait of a Roma girl sitting in front of a stone wall in the village of Al Makhwah. The girl comes from the Al Hud group in Yemen and works as a dancing and singing street performer. She is wearing bunches of herbs in her hair, a nose ornament and a thick armlet.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
