Description

View of water sellers unloading imported water from a dhow (sailboat) at the harbour in Kuwait City. In the foreground one man stands in the tide holding a small rowboat. Beside him a second man perches on the bow of the boat. Nearby two donkeys and a mule stand in the tide, waiting to be loaded with water skins. Behind them more dhows are moored in shallow water close to shore.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
