View of Wilfred Thesiger's party at a well near Al Hubi village. In the foreground one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin travelling companions hauls up a bag of water from a well that has been reinforced with wood. Just beyond other members of the party and a few camels rest beside a tree that grows beside the well. In the distance beyond a vast sand flat, dotted with vegetation, stretches out to the far horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
