View of Wilfred Thesiger's party camping in the sands during the party's journey from Jabal Sumeini to the port city of Sharjah. Five men sit in the sand next to a large bush. One man stands to the right of the group. A number of pots sit in the sand around the men. In the background tufts of vegetation grow on a vast flat plain that stretches into the far distance.
