Description
Close-up profile portrait of Lawi, a young Samburu man, taken shortly after his circumcision. He still wear the black skin cloak and has also been adorned with woman's earrings and an ostrich feather headdress. Small birds that he has shot with blunted arrows hang down the back of his neck.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
