View of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party making camp on a rocky plain during their journey from the Ramlat Unayq, north of Al Ain/Buraimi oasis, to Jabal Sumeini. In the foreground three members of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party stand with their camels by a large tree on a flat plain. On the left one man unloads gear from a couched camel. At the centre two men stand next to a camel. In the background scattered patches of grass grow on the dry plain, and further beyond a lone tree grows. On the right a mountain rises high above the horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
