Description
View of a man at the watchtower at Al Maqta, a stretch of water that separates Abu Dhabi Island from the mainland. Water fills the foreground, surrounding a round watchtower on all sides. The watchtower is built from stone and is situated on a rocky island in the centre of the image. A man climbs a rope up the face of the tower towards an opening above him. In the far background a number of large rocky outcroppings are visible in the right distance.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
