View of Wilfred Thesiger's party trekking across dunes in Al Humrah sands during their journey to Umm az Zumul. In the foreground a line of tracks leads up the side of a wind-rippled dune into the far distance, where Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions walk with their camels. Beyond them rolling dunes rise along the horizon below a cloudless sky.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
