View of Wilfred Thesiger's party trekking through sands north of Al Ain oasis during their journey from Al Ain to Ramlat Unayq. In the foreground two of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling companions ride camels across a wide expanse of sand. Tufts of vegetation and small shrubs grow on the uneven ground. In the far distance a steep faced rocky mountain rises above the flat.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
