View of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party camping in the shade of two trees during their journey from the Ramlat Unayq, north of Al Ain/Buraimi oasis, to Jabal Sumeini. On the left a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party loads one of two camels couched in the shade of a tall tree. Pots, a rifle and blankets are scattered on the ground under the tree. On the right, behind another tree, a few more camels rest in the shade. In the background a vast rocky plain leads to a far rocky mountain.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
