Description
View of a group of women, standing on rocks, gathered around the head and carcass of a dead camel which, Thesiger records, had collapsed from illness and was subsequently butchered for food.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
